loveshoppingholics.com Cirlce Lenses Review

loveshoppingholics.com

I purchased Fynale J01 Honoo Gray Circle Lens and Japan Barbie Circle Eye(Ring)-Blue. I had a code to receive a third pair for free, which was EOS Gray (I think it's from the Max Pure series). I placed this order in February and it arrived quicker than the 21 days that it said. The free pair expires this month, so I won't be able to wear it after this month, but it was free and I'm okay with that.

I had pictures of my order when I first received it, but I accidentally deleted them... (´_`。) All I have left are just pics of me wearing the lenses...The outer packaging was very discreet and plain, but they used pretty stamps and the inner packaging was very cute.  (*^▽^*)
Japan Barbie Circle Eye(Ring)-Blue
Colour: ***** This is a very pretty dark blue color that blends well with my eye color. The design is vibrant and also very unique. It's kind of a swirl pattern. I get lots of compliments whenever I wear these lenses!
Comfort: ***** These are probably the most comfortable lenses that I own. I can wear these all day without and dryness or discomfort!
Enlargement: ***** Really gives a doe eye look without looking like an alien and also as you can see in the pictures below, I have minimal makeup on.
Overall: ***** These are one of my favorite lenses. I wear these quite often! I will eventually be ordering these in all the colors that are available! (◕‿◕✿)

Fynale J01 Honoo Gray (Sorry I don't have a picture yet...)
Colour: ***** These are one of my favorite lenses! They are slightly lighter than depicted on the website. They blend pretty well and look quite natural.
Comfort: ***** These are pretty comfortable, I was able to wear them for 6 hours before I had to use re-wetting drops. After the drops, I was able to wear them for another 4 hours before my eyes felt fatigued.
Enlargement: ***** Looks more like regular contacts, but gives a slight enlargement. Still very pretty and gives a very nice doll eyed look.
Overall: ***** These are such a lovely pair of lenses. This is my third favorite pair of lenses. I think I might buy a few more colors.

EOS Gray (Possibly Max Pure series) BC: 8.6 mm, Diameter: 14.5 mm
Colour: ***** I love gray lenses! I have three pairs of gray lenses and these are by far my most favorite of them all! They blend in very well and look very natural to me.
Comfort: ***** Even tho these are my favorite lenses, they are not the most comfortable. They dry out very quickly. (I think because it's the last month I can wear it...)
Enlargement: ***** These also give a nice doe eye effect without looking like an alien. As you can see I am wearing minimal makeup with these lenses as well.
Overall: ***** Did I mention that these are my favorite lenses?! I love the color and the blend and the enlargement! I got these for free and I'm ordering them so that I can wear them all year! I will be ordering these in other colors as well... Gray lenses are my favorite!!  。

So much shopping... not enough time/money

(I wrote this a few weeks ago and forgot to post it...)
It's been a little while since I've posted. I thought I should update everyone on what's been going on with me the past couple of weeks.

I got my taxes back and did some shopping. I got quite a haul.

Twice from Sephora and twice for circle lenses. I ordered from geocolouredlenses.com and from loveshoppingholics.com during the Valentine's day sale in February. I also bought quite a bit of clothes as well. I am a bargain shopper, so I got a lot of clothes for me and the kids. (loveshoppingholics review will be on a different post.)

Sephora

First haul from February 21
Ole Henriksen Seven Skincare Sensations, tokidoki Adieu, ALTERNA Caviar Anti-Aging Experience Set, GLO Whitening Antioxidant Toothpaste; free samples: Murad Time Release Retinol Concentrate For Deep Wrinkles, REN Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream, NUDE Skincare ProGenius™ Treatment Oil; free with code: First Aid Beauty Dual Repair Face Cream deluxe; deluxe samples (used points): Dr. Brandt Skincare glow by dr. brandt™ ruby crystal retinol hydracrème, Bumble and bumble Straight Blow Dry.

The only things I've really used from this haul are the Ole Henriksen products, Adieu, and the ALTERNA hair set. I really love the Ole line! There are a few items that I will have to get different products of tho. I like the On the Go Cleanser much better than the cleanser that came in the kit and I need and oil-free moisturizer rather than the one that came in the kit. Adieu has a slightly sweet and fruity scent that I like a lot. It's very spring summery and feminine without being too childish or girly smelling. As far as the hair set goes, I think I like it, but I have not really gotten a chance to use it yet. the package I received was damaged, so I had to get it replaced. I will make a different post about how I like it. ヽ(‘ー`)ノ

Second haul from February 23
Hello Kitty HK Grafitti Suitcase (not pictured), SEPHORA COLLECTION Deluxe Airless Travel Kit, SEPHORA COLLECTION Putting On The Spritz Atomizer,Betsey Johnson Too Too Gift Set; free samples: Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream, NUDE Skincare ProGenius™ Treatment Oil, Escada Especially Escada.

There's not really much to say about this haul as I haven't used anything yet. I am going to Florida in April. Once I have used these items, other than the perfume, I will make a post how everything worked out for me. As far as Too Too, I really like this scent. It's a little hard for me to explain the scent tho. It's floral, sweet, but it has this edge to it that says, feminine, quirky, fun and  strong... I can't really explain well that other scent, woodsy maybe...? I especially love the little party clutch with the huge bow that came with the set I bought!! It's too too cute!! ☆*:.。. o(≧▽≦)o .。.:*☆

I purchased in the store: Too Faced Air Buffed BB Crème Complete Coverage Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF 20 Sunscreen. I had initially bought the BB cream from Tarte, but did not end up keeping it. I played with the sample I had received more and wanted something with more coverage. I decided to go ahead and exchange the Tarte BB cream for the Too Faced BB cream and I'm glad I did, I love this cream from Too Faced! It has all the benefits of the BB creams, but with better coverage. The only thing that I don't like, the brush is so small. I bought a Sonia Kashuk® Kashuk Tools Synthetic Flat Top Multipurpose Brush - No 04 from Target. It feels exactly like the brush that came with the Too Faced BB cream, but larger. This made putting on the cream so much easier. (ヘ。ヘ)

Oh the Things for Beauty...

I have been playing around with the different BB creams that I got as samples from Sephora. I am still using the Smashbox and Dr. Jart samples because I feel that my face might have been oily feeling from the new moisturizer that I had been using. Also because they were free. ☆~(ゝ。∂)
I have been trying them with different moisturizers. So far though, I feel that I really need an oil-free BB cream. The one I am liking the most right now is the Stila all-day one. (I will have another post for this.)

I also received my circle lenses that I ordered from geocolouredlenses.com. They actually arrived on 02-01-2013, but I somehow missed the notice to pick them up. I got the Final Notice on Saturday and picked them up Monday morning.

ColorNine Moon Grey AN-A45

I had to work all day when I got them, so I wasn't able to wear them until today (02-12-2013). I am wearing the grey pair and they are very comfortable. I put them on around 10am and it is now 4pm, they still feel pretty comfortable. Tho my eyes feel a little tired and I have a slight headache, but I'm not sure if it's from the contacts or if it's a reaction to how much perfume I just sprayed. (^~^;)ゞ LOL!
They also look very  natural to me, most everyone thinks it's my real eyes. I got so many compliments on how I looked. (*^‿‿^*) I think that it's from the contacts, makes my eyes sparkle and very doe-like.
blerg(⌒▽⌒)☆
After work, I went to the store and bought some re-wetting drops. They actually carried the Rhoto brand that I've seen other circle lens websites recommend to buy. I bought the Rhoto Ice kind. When I used them, my headache instantly went away. The feeling was very cooling and refreshing. It felt extremely good on my tired dry eyes that I was able to keep them in for another six hours without any more discomfort. I am extremely happy with my purchase from geocolouredlenses.com. The shipping was technically before the 21 working days that it said, but I somehow missed the first and second notices. So it was 21 week days before I actually had them in my hands. They have a sale for Valentine's Day; 20% off, so I will definitely be ordering from them again. (*´∀`) ノ♡

I also purchased some new plugs from Onetribe Organics. Since it was my first purchase from them, and I'm not at the size I want to be yet, I ordered from their Clearance Grab Bag. Their jewelry is kind of expensive, but once I received my items, I feel that the quality is worth the price. I'm glad that they offer the clearance grab bag though, it allowed me to try them out before making a commitment to something I wasn't sure I'd love. What I really liked about them too is that they don't use any glues or yucky stuff like that in any of their jewelry. It's all organic materials and inspired by nature.

I went to show them to a friend of mine and he broke the stone pair (not on purpose). I was so sad. ヽ(´□`。) He did however replace them with another stone pair. It may not be onetribe, but it's also stone. Still kinda sad about it tho... I hadn't even gotten to enjoy the pair at all and it got broken... ((T.T; )

Going Veg + My Blonde Hair

I've been trying to cut out meat more and more from my diet. So I've been trying a bunch of different recipes that I've found online. It's difficult trying to find something that's filling and still tastes good at the same time. It's an accomplishment if my brother doesn't complain, "its missing meat..." Here is the recipe that I tried and we all enjoyed it very much. I've made it twice already.

I did try another recipe as well, but even though it was filling, I felt that it was missing something... Here is the recipe if you want to try it: Vegan Spiced Coconut Chard and Chickpeas with  Quinoa.
I also found some Indian recipes that I've tasted in a frozen boxed meal from Amy's. It seems easy enough to make, so I'm going to try to make something called Aloo Matar.

Also here is an update on how my hair turned out.
The bottom and back is still kind of orange (my hair is a light golden strawberry blonde), but I'm pretty happy with the color right now.

Sephora & Sally's

Sephora

The BB creams that I originally got samples of were making my face too oily, so I got a few more samples from Sephora. This time of oil-free ones.
BB creams: Stila and Boscia. Foundations: Sephora and Kat Von D
Oh, I also got a sample of Josie Maran Argan Cleansing Oil.
I recently found out that MAC has a BB cream as well. When I have some time, I'll go to Macy's and ask for a sample of that. I have a gift card for there, so if I like MAC's BB cream, that'd be awesome! Because having a gift card is like getting free stuff, and who doesn't love free stuff!?
(^v^)

Sally's

I also went to Sally's Beauty Supply today. I am going to dye my hair. Maybe I should say "bleach" the heck out of it. Why am I dying my hair? Well, I needed a change and I didn't want to cut my hair again. I've been trying to grow it out for such a long time and it's the longest it's been since I first cut it in high school.
I was recommended to buy this stuff because it will lighten my hair 7-8 shades lighter than bleaching it. I did buy the Aqua colored dye too. I'm thinking of putting a few streaks underneath, or maybe doing a whole row in between, just so it peeks out. I dunno yet, if I don't use it, I can always return it, or save it for later... Oh, I also got a couple of those Sally Girl Baked Eyeshadows for 99¢. I really like them, because you can use them wet or dry. The green one is kind of a limey yellow-green and the red one is a burnt mauvey deep red.

I will post pictures of the end result in another blog.

Quick Recap of My Week

(This one is going to be quick until I can post a more detailed one with pictures...)

My son has an ear infection. I thought he had the flu. Better that it's not the flu, but still, poor little guy is miserable.

I got a bunch of free samples from Sephora.
I will post pictures later and then I'll post about how I liked the stuff once I've played with them... a few of the samples I got were a few different BB creams:
      Smashbox
      Dr. Jart+
      Dr. Brandt

I've used the Smashbox one and the Dr. Jart+ one once already and I'm unsure if I like it.
I'll have to play with them more to see which one I like the best, or at all.

I did buy a couple of things:
Josie Maran 100% Argan Oil in the 15 ml/0.5 oz size
      Sephora Collection Daily Brush Cleaner

So far I really love the Bear Naked Wipes a lot. I had originally bought just the travel size to try. I loved it, so I went back the very next day to buy the full package. I keep one in my room next to my bed for when I'm too lazy and too tired to go wash my face. I also really love the 100% Argan oil. I think the size I bought is pretty sufficient, since I only use a few drops at a time.
(I will write a more detailed post on what I got and my thoughts on all the goodies I got later, I promise.)
 o(◡‿◡✿)

This is the bag I got with a bunch of free stuff inside. The bag by itself was worth $30. I got it for free.
O(≧∇≦)O

These are a few of the samples I got inside the bag. There was some men's cologne too, but I gave those away already.

Haul from Jo-Anne fabrics

Jo-Anne Fabrics has a Simplicity pattern sale going on right now. Five for $5! There is a limit of 10 per customer per purchase. I bought 7 yesterday and 10 today. It's such a great price!! I also got some yarn for half off with their coupon.

These are from yesterday. I spent about $23.00 (^v^)

These are from today. I only spent $15.00 (☆^ー^☆)

Now all I have to do is clean an area so I can get my sewing machine out and build two dress forms. One for myself and one for my daughter... I'm so excited and motivated. I hope I stay this motivated.

Inconsistencies + Distractions

So... I didn't do very well so far with this whole blogging thing. I didn't even post one blog after that first one saying I was going to try and blog once a week...
Well, this year I really am going to try to blog at least twice a month. I think that's a more realistic goal for someone like me. :-P
Even tho I didn't blog, I did knit up a few things for a few friends. I knit two hats and a scarf.
Scarves take a.really long time and the pattern tends to bore me after awhile... (~_~;)so I try not to make too many scarves.. LOL. (*≧▽≦)ノシ))
I will post a few of the pictures of the knit projects I did.
